Meet Your Doula
Hi, I’m Heather!
I’m the founder of Empowher Doula Care. I’m a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula dedicated to helping mothers feel supported, nourished, and confident during the transition into motherhood.
After birth, mothers often pour so much of themselves into caring for their baby that their own healing, rest, and needs are placed on the back burner. My role is to care for the mother while she cares for her baby — offering practical, emotional, and nurturing support in the comfort of her own home during this sacred time of healing and becoming.
Through personalized in-home postpartum support, I provide newborn care guidance, feeding support, nourishing meals, light household help, and dedicated time for mothers to rest, recover, and reconnect with themselves.
I also help mothers open up their intuitive gifts, so they can feel more connected to their inner wisdom, trust themselves more deeply, and move through motherhood with greater clarity and confidence.
My goal is for every mother I support to feel seen, cared for, and reminded that she does not have to navigate the postpartum season alone.
My Approach
My approach to postpartum care is rooted in the belief that support is something we create together.
I combine evidence-based postpartum doula care with a gentle, intuitive, and heart-centered approach to help mothers feel grounded in their healing, confident in their choices, and open to receiving the care they deserve through the fourth trimester and beyond.
Whether we are creating a postpartum plan, navigating newborn care, opening up your intuitive gifts, or identifying the support systems that will best serve you, my work is centered around honoring your unique journey into motherhood and the wisdom you already carry.
I believe many mothers have been taught to do everything on their own. Together, we gently explore the patterns, expectations, and beliefs that can make receiving support feel difficult, and we make space for rest, nourishment, connection, and a more supported postpartum experience.
My intention is that you leave our time together feeling clear, confident, and deeply supported knowing that support can be co-created, and that you are allowed to ask and receive support in every season of motherhood.
